Hibiki Tachibana vs Yuuki Yuuna (Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero)

What it has going for it:

• Multiple connections (similar personalities, skills and abilities, anime genres, punching out Gods, lesbians)
• Good character chemistry
• Most interesting debate regarding stats and ability clash
• Symphogear vs Yuuki Yuuna has a legacy matchup theme, thanks to both fandoms being very close

What it has going against it:

• Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero is just as, if not more obscure than Symphogear

Hibiki Tachibana vs Yusuke Godai (Kamen Rider Kuuga)

What it has going for it:

• Multiple connections (identical characters, power origins, martial arts, gay)

• Many Symphogear fans are also Kamen Rider fans. Symphogear has many blatant tokusatsu inspirations as well

• Multiple connections (similar personalities, mecha magical girls, reaching out to help, lesbians)
• Good character chemistry
• Close in stats
• Symphogear and Lyrical Nanoha have close fanbases due to similar themes. They’ve had a collaboration event in Symphogear’s mobile game (though they never fought)

What it has going against it:

• Contrasting fighting styles (martial arts vs magical blasts)
• Tsubasa vs Fate is the better, and more fitting Symphogear vs Lyrical Nanoha match
• Hibiki’s other Lyrical Nanoha match option is Subaru Nakajima, which works better when it comes to overall fighting style similarities

• Complete mismatch in stats
• Doesn’t have as many connections compared to the other matches, and has a lack of a legacy theme to it

• Ability contrast clashes too much to give decent choreography (close range martial arts and weapons vs summoning a spirit to cast spells)
