How strong is Super Sentai (calc)?

Super Sentai. The series Power Rangers originated from. Unfortunately not as popular as it’s overseas adaptation, or even it’s fellow Toku such as Kamen Rider and Ultraman, in the VS scene, and as a result, lacks a lot of calculations.

Thankfully, there is a simple way to find out just how strong they truly are.

In Super Sentai Strongest Battle, the Oddball Team (consisting of Gokai Red, ToQ 5gou, AkaNinger, Zyuoh Eagle and Sasori Orange) gained the power of all the Super Sentai to destroy the Ultimate Dai-Satan, a being stated to be capable of destroying the Universe.

Now, the amount of energy needed to destroy the Universe is at least 2.825 TenaexaFoe, or 6.752×10⁸² tonnes of TNT. Let’s use the tonnes of TNT as a basis.

Now, we need to take into account how many Super Sentai there are. Starting from Gokaiger, we have the 199 Super Sentai already, with the addition of Ninjaman to make it 200. Then we slowly add on each Super Sentai Team.

The addition of the Go-Busters brings up the count to 205.

The addition of the Kyoryugers brings the count up to 215.

The addition of the ToQgers brings the count up to 222.

The addition of the Ninningers brings the count up to 230.

The addition of the Zyuohgers brings up the count to 237.

The addition of the Kyurangers brings up the count to 249.

The addition of the Lupinrangers and Patrangers brings up the count to 256.

Now, we have the total of how many Super Sentai were used to make the power.

Dividing 6.752×10⁸² (67,520,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) tonnes of TNT by 256, gives us 2.6375×10⁸⁰ (263,750,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) tonnes of TNT.

This puts it in the Multi-Galaxy Range.

Now, who gets this scaling? Obviously, this applies for every one of the Super Sentai. Keep in mind that this is assuming all of their power, including power-ups, so they could be weaker in their base forms. This does explain why some Sentai are stronger than others.

Kamen Rider and Space Squad also receive this scaling, thanks to the fact that they’ve had many in-canon crossovers. (Decade vs Shinkenger, Gokaiger vs Gavan, Go-Busters vs Gavan, Gaim vs ToQger, Drive vs Ninninger, Ghost vs Zyuohger, Kyuranger vs Ex-Aid and Kyuranger vs Space Squad)

NOTE: While the Ryusoulgers technically debuted in the Super Sentai Strongest Battle, they didn’t seem to be officially considered Sentai at the time, as Ryusoul Red was not included in the attack animation. This also means with the addition of the Ryusoulgers and Kiramagers, Super Sentai as a whole is more than strong enough to destroy a Universe.
